Lorit, ragazzo ventitreenne omosessuale, che vive in Italia e di origini kosovare, è in procinto di partire per passare qualche settimana in Kosovo, come ogni estate. Non è particolarmente entusiasta della partenza a causa della mentalità del paese ancora estremamente chiusa. 

In famiglia ancora nessuno sa del suo orientamento sessuale, eccetto alcuni parenti di cui si fida. Questa, per Lorit, sarà un estate diversa, grazie all’aiuto della cugina, Vlera, vivrà appieno l’affascinante cultura e usanze Kosovare senza farsi intimorire dal giudizio che il paese ha nei suoi confronti.

Lorit, a twenty-three-year-old gay man living in Italy with Kosovar roots, is about to leave for a few weeks in Kosovo, as he does every summer. He’s not particularly excited about the trip because of the country’s very closed-minded mentality. In fact no one in his family knows about his sexual orientation, except for a few trusted relatives. This summer, however, will be different for Lorit, as thanks to the help of his cousin Vlera, he will fully embrace the fascinating traditions and culture of Kosovo without being intimidated by the judgment that the country holds against him.
